Maria Friedman Sings Marvin Hamlisch at The Palace Theatre in Stamford, CT

On Saturday, September 24, 2022, Orchestra Lumos will present Maria Friedman singing the music of Marvin Hamlisch, Michel Legrand and Stephen Sondheim at The Palace Theatre in Stamford, CT. Direct from her smash London sell-out run of Legacy at the Menier Chocolate Factory Theatre, Friedman will recall her experiences with three of the greatest songwriters of all time.
With a string of awards to her name, including three Olivier Awards, nine Olivier nominations, Evening Standard and Critics Circle Awards, and many other theatre accolades from the West End and Broadway stage, Maria Friedman is undoubtedly one of our most successful leading musical theatre ladies.
Under the musical direction of pianist Todd Ellison, the performance will also feature vocalists Ross Lekites (Tina—The Tina Turner Musical), Lewis Cleale (The Book of Mormon), Camille Foisie and Nick Rossi, along with students from The Westport High School Staples Players, Darien High School Theater 308, New Canaan High School and King School in Stamford.
