Nominees Announced for 2022 Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards

Nominees for the 2022 Marvin Hamlisch International Music Awards have been announced. The awards, presented annually in partnership with Queens College, the City University of New York, were created to honor the late Marvin Hamlisch, paying tribute to his remarkable legacy as both an artist and an advocate for emerging talent. The ceremony will take place on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 7pm EST and will be broadcast live at www.hamlischawards.tv.

The nominees in Film/Media Scoring (Emerging Division) are Pascal Coppé (Belgium), Yohan Jager (Canada), Jeroen Jaspers and Bas Van Win (The Netherlands), Luke Snyder (United States) and Seth Evan Stone (United States).

The nominees in Classical Composition (Emerging Division) are Inbal Cohen-Rasner (United States), Serge Fattal (Armenia), Yuehling Li (Taiwan), Ruth Roshan (Australia) and Su-Chan Sang (Dominican Republic).

The nominees in Jazz Composition (Emerging Division) are Salvatore Cirillo (Italy), Claire Cope (United Kingdom), Ally Fiola (Canada), Oliviana Marie (United States) and Luca Poletti (Italy).

The nominees in Musical Theatre Composition (Emerging Division) are Trish Causey (United States), Luke Enders (United States), Andrew Gerace and Anna Rosengart (United States), Sulwyn Lok (Singapore) and Veronica Mansour (United States).

The nominees in Contemporary Pop (Emerging Division) are Sophia Angelica (United States), Isabella Dussias (United States), Abel Libisch (United States), Lucía Linares (Spain) and Da Jun Yoo (South Korea).

The nominees in Film/Media Scoring (Youth Division) are Sean Carnahan (United States), Maddy Chassar Hesketh (United Kingdom), Felicity Handreck (Australia), Alexandre Manoukian (France) and Leyla Remzi (United Kingdom).

The nominees in Classical Composition (Youth Division) are Benjamin Barish (United States),
Maddy Chassar Hesketh (United Kingdom), Annika Joshi (United States), Alexander Moiseev (United States) and Daniel Pengelly (United Kingdom).

The nominees in Jazz Composition (Youth Division) are John Critelli (United States) and Levi Rodriguez (United States).

An impressive line-up of celebrity presenters will be announced the week of November 14, 2022.
