The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra celebrates the sublime musical legacy of Marvin Hamlisch, winner of numerous awards (three Oscars, three Golden Globes, four Grammys, four Emmys, and a Tony), composer of more than forty film scores, and creator of one of the longest running Broadway shows, A Chorus Line.

A prolific film, television and stage composer, Hamlisch won a Tony for A Chorus Line, and Oscars for his work for The Sting, and The Way We Were.

His scores for the films “The Swimmer” and “Sophie’s Choice” are beautiful compositions.
